Leather Gear Company began in a small workshop in Surulere, Lagos — with one craftsman, two lasts, and an unshakeable belief that Nigerian leather could stand beside the finest European makers.
Today, our atelier in Lekki employs a growing team of skilled cobblers and leather workers — each trained to uphold a single standard: that every pair leaving our doors is flawless.
We don't make shoes.

THE CRAFT
How every pair is made
Pattern & Last
Each shoe begins with a wooden last shaped to the client's foot. Patterns are drawn by hand and cut with surgical precision.
Cutting & Skiving
Premium leather panels are hand-cut along the grain. Edges are skived for clean seams — a process that takes years to master.
Lasting & Finishing
The upper is stretched over the last stitched by hand, and the sole is burnished and waxed to a lasting shine. Final quality check by the master cobbler.
